Lead-acid battery training model with cells and terminals visible

Thank you for your purchase. Your lead-acid battery training model was built, assembled, and checked by hand before it shipped.

Everything that comes with it is on this page and all of it is free: a seven-module Canvas course aligned to the ASE A6 task list, the slide decks in both PowerPoint and Google Slides, and three interactive animations that show the chemistry the model cannot.

Use it as it is, or pull it apart and rebuild it around your own program. Once the course is imported into your Canvas instance, every lesson, quiz, and activity is yours to edit.

If something arrived damaged or does not fit, skip to warranty and support below. Your email comes to me, not a help desk.

  1. Download the free Canvas course

Seven modules covering battery construction, chemistry, testing, charging, maintenance, failure diagnosis, and safety. Lessons, slides, quizzes, and hands-on activities, aligned to the ASE A6 task list.

You get a Canvas export package. Import it into your own Canvas instance and it lands as complete modules, ready to assign to your students. Every lesson, quiz, and activity is yours to edit from there.

    Download the course

  2. Just want the slides?

Not on Canvas, or only need something to teach from? All seven decks download as PowerPoint files you can drop straight into your own lesson.

They are also on Google Slides. Each link below opens a copy in your own Drive:

    Download all 7 decks (PowerPoint)

  3. Run the interactive animations

Three animations that show what the model cannot: the discharge reaction, the charge reaction, and how the built-in hydrometer reads state of charge.

They run in any browser, and each one downloads as a single file you can keep on a classroom machine with no internet connection.

    Open the animations

  4. Warranty, parts, and support

Every model is checked before it ships. If something arrived damaged, a part does not fit, or a component fails in normal classroom use, email me and I will make it right. Replacement parts for the printed components are available.

Include your order number and a photo of the part if you can, which usually gets it sorted in one reply.

  5. Other training needs

Thank you for supporting a small shop. This model exists because the classroom needed something a textbook diagram could not do.

I build training models and curriculum for other systems too, including CAN bus, relays, and series and parallel circuits. If your program needs something that does not exist yet, tell me what you are trying to teach and I will tell you honestly whether I can build it.
